Scrapbook assembled by Joseph Stipanowich in his role of Chairman of the 50th Anniversary Homecoming Committee of Western Illinois State College (WISC). Stipanowich was a 1946 graduate of WISC, longtime mathematician, and later, chair of the Mathematics department at Western Illinois University (WIU). The collection consists of an original and photocopy of the scrapbook, and includes one group photo of the committee, programs, clippings of various greetings to homecomers, advertisements, band information, a homecoming schedule, parade information, fraternity activities, king and queen elections, and schedules of various performances. The collection also includes a history of WISC's 25th Anniversary Homecoming, as well as letters and contracts to Mr. Stipanowich and Mr. Alan Laflin of University Relations.
